Editorial update: October 14, 2026. Original reporting dates are unchanged.
TurnPoint’s brand list is a starting point, but state records show a narrower picture for two brands. In Echelon’s October 3, 2026 snapshot, Black Hills in Washington held four active contractor credentials under one business identifier. Apollo Home in Ohio had six active commercial specialty credentials held by five people affiliated with the business. Those are different kinds of records, so adding them would not give a meaningful platform total.

Short answer: OMERS Private Equity acquired Louisville-based TurnPoint from Trivest Partners in November 2020. TurnPoint reported 65 brands, 100 operating locations and more than 6,000 employees in a March 2026 release. This file checks two brand-level license relationships against a dated state-record subset; it does not certify the entire network. [12][24][23]
The record observations below are dated October 3, 2026. The corporate pages were reviewed October 8. A brand page, state credential and operating company are not interchangeable. The analytical reads are identified separately from the records.
Ownership and operating chronology
OMERS announced the acquisition from Trivest on November 17, 2020. Its release then described 17 brands, more than 720 technicians and more than 290,000 annual service jobs. Those are historical figures from the transaction, not current operating metrics. The terms were not disclosed. OMERS’ portfolio page continued to list TurnPoint as a 2020 investment at this review. [12][18]
TurnPoint appointed Greg Bochicchio chief executive effective February 27, 2026, succeeding Kurt Bratton after Bratton’s retirement at the end of February. TurnPoint’s March 2 release described Bratton as a special adviser to the board. It reported 65 brands, 100 operating locations and more than 6,000 employees. TurnPoint’s current executive page also identifies Bochicchio as CEO. These are company-reported scale figures, not counts independently reconstructed from licenses. [24][23]
TurnPoint’s homepage showed 50 distinct brand links on October 8. That is a count of the captured directory, not every brand the company owns or has acquired. The ownership records reviewed here do not map every brand to a legal entity.[6]
What the license records establish

| Brand and state | Dated finding | Counting unit and limit |
|---|---|---|
| Black Hills, Washington | Four active credentials: BLACKHI066JL (construction), BLACKHI763D8 (journey-level plumbing), BLACKHI784CW (residential plumbing) and BLACKHI919DL (electrical). All share UBI 601478446. |
Four contractor credentials under one business identifier, not four companies. |
| Apollo Home, Ohio | Six active records: EL.49785, EL.50143, HV.24931, HV.51809, HY.24931 and PL.51021. They belong to five named holders affiliated with the company at its published Cincinnati office. |
Individual commercial specialty credentials, not six operating companies or a workforce census. |
TurnPoint’s Black Hills brand page places it in Olympia. Black Hills’ own site publishes BLACKHI066JL and an Olympia address; the credential and address match the October 3 Washington snapshot. The four credentials under the shared UBI have different trade classifications. The read: one license number visible on a website is not the full credential structure of that matched business. The source rows are inconsistent about corporation versus LLC for one credential, so this file does not certify legal form or beneficial ownership. [15][19][22]

TurnPoint places Apollo Home in Cincinnati. Apollo publishes 4538 Camberwell Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45209 as its main office. Six active Ohio credentials in the October 3 roster carry an affiliation with APOLLO HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING INC at that address. James N Gerdsen appears on both the HV and HY records, explaining why six credentials correspond to five named holders. The read: this is a multi-person specialty-credential structure, not a count of employees. Ohio’s commercial board layer does not establish a complete residential license footprint or each person’s current employment. An unrelated Strongsville company named Apollo Control Systems was excluded. [14][21][22]
An unresolved Campbell number
TurnPoint also lists Campbell & Company in Pasco. Campbell’s site publishes CAMPBCC79609, with a digit zero. The October 3 Washington snapshot contains CAMPBCC796O9, with a letter O, for a company at the published Pasco address. Three active credentials share that record’s UBI 604805159. Three older expired records at the address use a different UBI, 600478196. The exact published identifier and the source identifier do not match. We exclude all three active Campbell candidates from the verified floor until the official identifier and entity relationship are adjudicated. This discrepancy does not show that Campbell lacks a current license, and the older records do not prove an acquisition or legal succession. [22][16][20]
What an owner can use this for
If a new platform brand starts competing in your market, verify the brand’s operating entity and the specific trade credential in the relevant state before treating a national brand count as local licensed capacity. Keep company credentials and individual specialty credentials in separate columns. Recheck the state’s live record before relying on an October 3 snapshot for a hiring, referral or competitive decision. The matched records here establish a bounded presence in Washington and an Ohio commercial affiliation, not TurnPoint’s national capacity, revenue or intent to enter another market.
Questions about this file
Who owns TurnPoint Services?
OMERS Private Equity announced its acquisition of TurnPoint from Trivest Partners in November 2020 and still listed the company in its investment portfolio at this review. This file does not establish every current holder in the ownership structure. [12][18]
How many brands does TurnPoint have?
TurnPoint reported 65 brands in its March 2026 release. The separately captured homepage showed 50 unique brand tiles in October. The directory extraction is not a complete brand census, and the figures refer to different definitions and observations. [24][6]
Do these credentials represent separate TurnPoint companies?
No. Four Washington credentials share one business identifier. Six Ohio records belong to five named individual holders affiliated with Apollo’s business. The states’ units differ and must not be summed into a company count. [22]
Does the Campbell discrepancy mean its license expired?
No. The published token and the snapshot token differ by digit zero versus letter O. Three candidate active records were excluded pending exact official adjudication. Older expired records at the same address use a different business identifier and cannot settle the relationship. [22][20]
Does this file cover every TurnPoint brand or state?
No. It verifies a narrow floor for Black Hills and Apollo Home in two differently structured state datasets. Campbell is held, and the remaining listed brands were not license-adjudicated for this file. No platform-wide license total follows. [6][22]
Method and sources
For the company timeline, we used OMERS’ 2020 announcement and current portfolio page, along with TurnPoint’s March 2026 leadership release. We checked brands and addresses against TurnPoint and brand websites on October 8. The credential findings come from Echelon’s saved October 3 Washington and Ohio records, including identifiers, statuses and named holders. Those dated records do not replace a current state lookup. This file does not make a current Tennessee licensing claim or count every brand’s licenses.
